We have strong experience assisting organizations in advancing their mission, achieving their goals and capitalizing on opportunities. BCI's teams have provided strategic planning services at a variety of organizations, including: 

  • For a major systems integrator, assisted in developing and implementing a Client Organization Strategy Assessment (COSA). Conducted internal and external audits, a stakeholder analysis, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis and risk analysis. The COSA helped improve service and secure a $1.2 million contract extension with the firm's client.
  • For a large technology firm, conducted an analysis of a leading competitor's financial management system. Identified the advantages and disadvantages of the system to the firm's marketing department to enhance selling messages.
  • For the largest multiple listing service (MLS) firm in the nation, conducted an in-depth competitive analysis. Compared the strengths and limitations of a competitor's MLS and provided findings and recommendations to improve marketing and service offerings.
  • For a large military organization, collaborated with management and staff to develop business plans and balanced scorecards for the 31 operational units.  
  • For a large shipping enterprise, facilitated two off-site conferences to plan the transition to a new procurement system. Developed a strategic plan including guides for adopting the new system and new processes.   
  • For the Federal Aviation Administration, developed a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) with 21 performance, organizational and customer satisfaction metrics to evaluate the performance of an outsourced, multi-billion dollar flight services provider. 
  • For a Fortune 5 petroleum corporation, constructed elasticity of demand pricing models based on demographic information, gas volumes and other factors to improve the pricing and profitability of stations in 11 resale districts.
